We met Liz, Kyle, and their CUTE daughter Adeline on a sunny- and surprisingly warm- Saturday earlier this month. It’s always fun to visit new locations for a shoot, but you never know quite what you’re going to get. We met up at Riverview Park in Charlottesville- right down the road from where the Savage family lives. The park is located along the Rivanna Trail so we decided to take a walk and stop along the way when we found a spot we liked. 

I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to photograph a lot of families in the past 6 months- and because most of these people have heard of me from friends of theirs I’ve photographed (or the awesome Facebook community in C’Ville), I’m meeting most of them for the first time when we meet up for their session. The Savages fit in this category! So we started walking- Kyle and Liz pushing Adeline in the stroller- and we started talking and before too long we realized we really liked these guys! They were laid back and relaxed and we genuinely enjoyed our walk along the river with them. Adeline warmed up before too long and it’s amazing how much personality a one-year-old can have!
