A + J | 12 Ridges Vineyard | July 25, 2020
A + J were originally supposed to get married in Utah but when the pandemic hit they decided to hit the pause button on those plans. On a road trip through Virginia they stumbled across this brand new little vineyard on a mountain top right off the parkway and pulled off for a glass of wine. A fell in love instantly and J was ready to make her mountaintop dreams come true. The couple decided 12 Ridges was the perfect spot for an intimate Virginia wedding with their friends and family… and we agree.
We will always take as much time for bride and groom portraits as our couples allow but we try not to push our luck. So when J gave us the nod to sneak away for more portraits we couldn’t say yes fast enough (not to mention how much it thrills us to photograph couples that can’t get enough of each other!!).
The views at 12 Ridges are seriously unparalleled and we even revisited the vineyard for our Christmas tree (the property used to be a Christmas tree farm and still operates as such during the holidays). HIGHLY recommend visiting for a 360 degree view of the Blue Ridge!
Thankful for the people this job introduces us to and the place it takes us!
