There’s nothing quite like being in the middle of nowhere with the people you love most in the world (and the cows of course). And that was just the setting for Karyl + Garrett’s backyard wedding last weekend in Scottsville, Va.
As Aaron and I drove winding back roads to the Steger Farm, we hit a major rainstorm. My heart started beating extra hard and my mind went into overdrive as I tried to figure out how we were going to help our friends pull off their entirely outdoor wedding in the rain. But as we drove, the rain drops slowed and then stopped, and once we passed through the storm we found nothing but blue skies on the other side. Hallelujah!
Karyl + Garrett’s day was simple and relaxed and felt just like the two of them.
