As I type this blog post, this amazing kid is traveling around the country interviewing (or is it auditioning??) for colleges as he decides where to call home this fall. Ben is the most talented young musician we know. He has probably been playing the piano longer than he’s been writing his own name and he’s fantastic. I’m not just saying that because I’m writing a blog post about him and it’s kind to say flattering things about your subject… it’s true. He’s probably even better than my non-musical ear knows. He’s so talented (and sweet and kind and funny) that Aaron and I asked him to play for our wedding day. He knocked it out of the park. I had people coming up to me all night telling me how impressed they were with him. (Future brides and planner friends, he is for hire! I’d love to get you connected.)

Aaron and Ben spent the afternoon wandering around downtown Staunton, Virginia for his senior session and it’s amazing how many pianos they found 🙂 Ben would sit on the bench to be photographed and once he started playing heads would turn.

Ben, you have a bright future and not just because of your talent. You’re such a neat kid and we are blessed to call you our friend. We’re excited to see where God places you next and all of the enormous things he is going to do with your life. Enjoy some of our favorites from Ben’s session!

cheers!
