Silver Hearth Lodge: Roanoke, Virginia | Kostayne + Eric

When we drove up the winding mountain road from my parents’ house in Roanoke, Virginia to Silver Hearth Lodge we were blown away by the view. We felt like we were on top of the world. We knew from the very first time we met Kostayne and Eric that these were our kind of people. Kos and Eric first saw our work when we photographed Whitney and Drew’s wedding in Roanoke last August and it’s been so much fun to get to know this one-of-a-kind friend group.

From the perfect blush BHLDN dress, to the stunning mountain views, to the kindest souls you’ve ever met, this day was one we’d do over again and again. You can tell right away that this couple LOVES people. Their hearts are pure gold and on their special day they cared for us so intentionally- making sure that we had everything we needed, that we had eaten, that we were having a good time. On the biggest day of their lives they wanted to make sure their friends and family (because of course by their wedding day we qualified for that label) were taken care of. What a blessing!

Kostayne looked like royalty in her mama’s veil and Eric treats her exactly like that. These two are clearly best friends and they love each other so effortlessly. It’s just fun to be around them and we left the night excited for the next time we’d get to hang out with them! E + K, don’t think we’ll let you back out on that promise you made to let us be your life-long photographers!
